Working in partnership with Focus, Pulse are able to offer a comprehensive range of courses. Focus are affiliated with the Register of Exercise Professionals Scheme (REPS) providing any course participant with continued professional development in conjunction with REPS.
In addition Pulse can provide a range of one day non-accredited training courses tailor made to the requirements of the centre, and designed to improve customer care and service within facilities.
REPS have been set-up by the Fitness Industry Association (FIA) to help safeguard the interest of people who are using the services of exercise and fitness instructors. Registration signifies that an exercise professional has met certain standards
Courses are delivered to the highest standard by very well qualified and experienced tutors providing you with the tuition, support and resources to realise ambitions. As part of the course candidates will be supplied with all the relevant training materials required to complete a successful training course, this includes manuals, workbooks and videos.
During study Focus Training tutors will make appointments to contact candidates to assist them through the learning. It is also possible to speak to the tutors direct, outside of the appointments, providing continuous help and support.
We realise that learning is ‘LIFE LONG’, once a course is completed it doesn’t stop there. We are on hand to advise you and keep you updated on all career development opportunities, including the continuing professional development necessary to maintain your R.E.P.S. registration.

Training Courses
Bespoke onsite courses are carefully condensed into 1-day duration to ensure minimal disruption to facility operations, offering better value without compromising the quality of the course. Other training courses vary in length in order to cover all the aspects of the training and some include an assessment day approximately one month after the training.
