In a bid to get the younger community active and engaged in fitness, Cookstown Leisure Centre in Northern Ireland has enlisted the help of the UK’s leading provider of interactive fitness equipment - Pulse Fitness.
The centre has invested in the exciting new multi-player dance mat system from Pulse. Dance Machine, is designed to be an interactive, fun and competitive group exercise, ideal for this key market.
The concept of dance mats already has an established popularity in both the arcade and home, so much of the youth market are familiar with the game play of Dance Machine whereby players activate panels on the dance platform in sequence with arrows on the screen and to the beat of the music.
“We currently offer a range of traditional sports within our leisure facility but felt we struggled to engage with the youth market, Dance machine from Pulse is ideal as it is driven by a musical gaming environment that incorporates fun with physical activity” says Liam Glavin , Leisure Services Manager at Cookstown District Council.
Dance machine is perfect for the leisure centre environment as it is a completely mobile durable system allowing for group classes, school hire or pay per play sessions to take place in multi-use areas.
