Pulse, the leading provider of total fitness solutions, will be unveiling the third phase of its Smart Centre gymmanagement software at this year’s FIBO.
Smart Centre is now capable of tracking activities external to the gym environment to help contribute towards members overall fitness goals. Gym members can use the Smart Centre to input activities ranging from swimming to walking the dog, when inputting this information it will be automatically feed into the reports system. This additional facility will give a true reflection of all exercise undertaken by a member and help to provide additional support for instructors to motivate and praise a member towards achieving their fitness goals.
Additional Smart Centre enhancements include the ability to program the AbCoaster, Fluid UBE and Fluid Rower as part of a users workout plan, a clearer reflection of a users status within the gym environment, auto logout functions for staff and a number of improvements to the users interface.
At FIBO 2008, Pulse successfully unveiled the German version of Smart Centre.

A new sophisticated ultra-slim Smart Centre kiosk will also be unveiled on the FIBO stand. The customer facing kiosk will have an integrated PC system, operated via a 19” display touch screen – the new kiosk is specifically designed to look more attractive and user friendly within the gym environment.
