NEW UPGRADES TO PULSE SMART CENTRE LAUNCHED AT LIW

Pulse, the UK’s leading provider of total fitness solutions, will be unveiling the second phase of its Smart Centre gym management software at this year’s LIW.

Smart Centre is now capable of emailing internally or externally to members with automated or personalised messages. For example, members could receive an automatic weekly, monthly or quarterly work out report, personalised motivational messages when fitness goals are achieved or be advised of the latest fitness program or current promotional offer. This facility will enable operators to provide a consistent level of communication with all members and free up gym staff’s time to interact personally with members in the fitness suite, resulting in better retention of existing members.

“We have listened to our customer’s feedback and added a number of additional features to the Smart Centre. We believe we offer the best gym management software in the UK leisure market,” comments Dave Johnson, Production Director at Pulse Fitness. “Smart Centre is a comprehensive Customer Relationship Management tool for any size of leisure facility.”

Additional Smart Centre enhancements include the option to copy and paste induction training programmes, a colour-coded early warning system for members who need gym staff’s personal attention and new reporting options for trainers and gym managers to monitor activity, profile members, monitor gym staff performance and create targeted marketing campaigns.

Since the launch of Smart Centre 12 months ago, the system has been successfully installed in a number of public sector leisure facilities throughout the UK including, The Grove Well Being Centre, Belfast, Ireland and The Park Leisure Centre, Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria. All sites have been extremely impressed with the ease of use and the many benefits provided by tracking member’s activity, none more so than Shire Oaks School in the West Midlands.

“Pulse’s Smart Centre has been a great tool for the A-level students coursework but it also helps me to monitor attendance in the gym and set individual targets for the students,” says Colin Hall, Head of PE at Shire Oaks School. “Students find the system very motivational and actively compete against the work out programme set for them.”
