The Greenway Centre in Southmead, Bristol has invested in £70,000 worth of the latest Pulse Fitness equipment as part of their multi million pound refurbishment to improve sport and leisure services for the local community.
The contract has seen Pulse install over 30 pieces of cardio and strength equipment including the self powered Freedom range and inclusive Evolve strength range. Plus, a selection of free weight equipment, 11 group cycles and the Fibo Innovation award winning – AbCoaster.
Much of the Pulse equipment installed at the facility is accredited by the Inclusive Fitness Initiative, which was a key requirement by the Southmead Development Trust.
“We wanted to provide a truly accessible centre that will actively engage local people in exercise and that can cater for all fitness abilities and disabilities” comments Julie Doughty, Operations Manager, Southmead Development Trust. “ Pulse has an excellent reputation for their work with the Inclusive Fitness Initiative and their impressive range of accredited equipment has enabled us to provide a fully inclusive gym”
The site is currently working with the Inclusive Fitness Initiative as it hopes to be awarded the IFI mark provisional level of accreditation.
