Pulse has announced its latest addition to its interactive kids solution, Xertainment range, with the European premier of the Lightspace Play Wall and Play Floor.

 

The Lightspace Play Wall comes with six pre-installed games including Dodgeball and Tennis Pro that are suitable for players of varying skills and ages. Both single player and multiplayer modes can be selected with the wall activating at different points on its surface and collating the overall scores for the players and providing individual feedback against set goals. The system is also designed to store high scores for each of the pre-installed games giving players a target to aim for each time they play.

 

Measuring 8 ft by 4 ft, the Lightspace Play Wall is as durable as a floor based product and can withstand pressure of up to 3000 lb. The surface is able to detect the location and force of players and objects, creating a realistic gaming experience with instant feedback displayed on the wall or through sound effects.  

 

The Lightspace Play Floor is capable of storing and running a potentially limitless variety of games and interactive programmes that can be used by multiple participants simultaneously. The Lightspace Play Floor creates an engaging experience that will draw young children, teenagers and adults to activities that will excite and entertain them while keeping them active and fit.

 

The Lightspace Play software is housed in a durable console that is located next to the playing surface. Combining the latest interactive technology with software controlled content, it provides a simple touch screen interface for players to learn, choose and play the games they want. The system is also fully customisable with the operator having full control over what is seen and is easily updated with new games via a simple installer. Operators will also be able to run reports on the usage of the products to determine the most popular types of games used.
