The contract has seen Pulse provide over 50 pieces of cardio and strength equipment including the self powered Freedom range and IFI approved equipment from the Evolve strength range to fit out an entirely new gym at the leisure centre.

Darren Kissane, Facility Manager at Oak Tree LC, comments, “Pulse offered the best value for money in the competitive tender process but for me they are incredibly easy to work with both as a company and at ground level with the equipment.  The service back up the company provides is excellent with machines rarely out of use.  Our customers are delighted with the new equipment as it looks great, is easy to use and performs well.  We have received some very positive feedback from members about the equipment as it makes our centre the very best in terms of modern equipment in our local area.”

Before the investment in the new building and new equipment, Oak Tree had 200 direct debit members.  Since moving to the new building and opening the new gym, this number has increased to 650 in just under six months.  “The old gym had only 24 stations but we can now boast 70 plus modern studios and sauna and steam rooms,” comments Darren.  “This is all included in the direct debit package and our members feel they are getting more for their money than they did previously.”

Darren has been working with Pulse for nearly 10 years now and has always been impressed by the level of service he has received.  “I have dealt with a number of people within Pulse and have always found them to be knowledgeable, genuine and friendly.  This is important when you are running a customer focused business such as a gym.”
